It's fully welded and feels incredibly robust—definitely designed to handle serious workouts. With a capacity support beam of up to 500LB, I feel safe and secure using it, knowing that it can withstand my weight and then some. The mounting options are versatile, with support for beam or joist installation, which adds to its overall usability. Just a heads up: make absolutely sure to install it into wall studs for maximum safety. If you skip this crucial step, it could lead to a regrettable fall during workouts.One of the standout features for me are the resistance band hooks. Product is very difficult to mount. Screw holes for installation are in very inconvenient locations, does not allow access for drill or ratchet.

This is the perfect incarnation of the home gym pull-up bar. It doesn't rely on a door frame, forcing the owner to do a proper install with the variety of included mounting hardware. Although in my case I did cheat a little and used L-hooks to mount this so it's removable. I did this because my primary workout spot is outside, under the porch off the back of my house. While the mounting holes in this aren't ideally suited for hooks, it works well and it will hold 2 people. Yeah, this bar is incredibly well made. I don't think it could be any better. The welds are immaculate, the alignment flawless, the materials incredibly tough, and the finish is perfectly even, grippy, and beautiful. I don't think it would ever rust leaving it outside but I'm not going to risk it regardless. It's a very heavy bar so just taking it down and hanging it up again is a workout in itself. The variety of exercises you can do on this bar is expansive, and rock climbers will especially appreciate the ball-grips. Thanks to this wonderful piece of equipment I'm feeling good about keeping my New Years resolution to get fit again.

This thing is a beast. Worth every penny just for the craftsmanship. This isn't a wimpy over the door hook onto the trim pull up bar. Once mounted properly it isn't going anywhere. Love the design of it and that you can do different styles of pull ups and also that it has spots to attach bands for resistance training as well. If you are looking for a heavy duty pull up bar than look no further. Get this one and get to work!

This bar was bigger and more than I needed. The box was missing the install hardware, so it appears I recieved a returned item. I also returned it.

This is the nicest pull up bar I've seen after a couple of months of shopping for one. It's heavy metal with a nice finish, and has all the features you might want. I even got some elastic bands, (separately, not included), to help get a few more reps in when I'm near my limit, which this has a mounting point for. I have nothing bad to say about it.

My husband had been wanting a pull up bar for forever. So he was thrilled when we found this one. I'm not all that thrilled that he has installed this thing in the doorway of our guestroom, but he has been using it regularly and he loves it. It's sturdy and durable. I've hung on it a bit and its kind of fun to swing around on. I don't have the strength to do much of a pull up yet, but since it's installed and it's easy to just grab it and practice, I'm working on pulling myself up. I can do a couple of pretty week almost pull ups -- I can't quite get to the top. But even though I don't really like how this thing looks, it does make it very easy to grab it when you walk by and practice for a few minutes. I reluctantly like it and am not ad at my husband for putting it up.
