Got these doorbells for my two puppies and after a few days the plastic covering of the button just popped right off. It is now an eyesore and no matter what I do to try and keep the button on it falls again. Highly recommended a touch sensitive doorbell instead.

I have a very anxious dog and I was able to train him to use this so that just shows how easy it is! Heโs only about 10 pounds so the button really only requires a light touch. I put one inside my door and outside so he lets me know when he needs to go out and when heโs ready to come in.

We didn't have a doorbell for the longest time. The previous home owners just never installed one. I tried a wireless doorbell (runs on wifi) and that didn't work because those are mostly for use on 2.4gz networks and ours is a 5 because of the carrier. Anyway, this was the perfect solution because it was so easy. Just plug in the base and it rings through the "speaker" when the button on the door is pushed. The doorbell on the door is large so visitors can see it clearly and it also comes with a "please ring bell" sticker so they know what it is. I ordered the two receivers package with one base (the big button) so I have one plugged in my kitchen and one in the bedroom. The volume is adjustable and I have it set quite low because it is loud (!) at the highest setting. I have no problems hearing it in any room of the house between the two plugs. It is a nice color and blends well in the background. The only problem is my front door is white so it's a little difficult to see the white button. That is why I'm glad a sticker was included. I don't know if other colors are offered, but I wanted something neutral anyway. The exterior of the house is brick so that didn't work although you can mount it with screws if you need to attach to a wall or doorframe. It is definitely weather proof because just in the past week, we've had -15 degree days and about a foot of snow. No problem with the doorbell not working. The price is great for something that works well and does exactly what I need. I could also benefit by just carrying around the button for any emergency if I'm not feeling well (or anyone in my household) and someone could help me if necessary. I may order another, but I highly recommend for an easy to use bell kit.
