Good level of comfort and I don't have to wear padded shorts when I use it with my indoor training bike.

I have a number of bikes and all of them have Selle Italia TRK saddles. I’ve put thousands of miles on them and they really do avoid genital numbness and are remarkably durable. Apparently they are not always as comfortable for women.

Extremely comfortable seat. My old saddle literally cracked after 20+ years so I considered many options before selecting this one. I like equipment that works well and lasts… this one is it. The first and last rides of the season are always splendid.

Took a few adjustments to get the right fit. Once I got the right fit, found the saddle to be comfortable. Minimal discomfort after a 3-hour ride

I don't have a lot of fat padding so more than an hours ride makes me sore. I've tried several "padded" bike seats and a couple of relatively high priced (> $150) seats on both of my bikes. I've had help from experienced riders with tweaking the exact position of seats with real but modest benefits. Based on multiple reviews I decided to try this seat since it had a unique shape for my road bike. I went with this lower priced SMP model to see if this shape was any better before investing a lot of money it one. I can't say that the seat is bliss but it is much more comfortable for long (more than an hour) rides than any of the other seats I have tried. You do have to work of the best position, height, front to back and tilt angle. I ended up with the midpoint of the saddle at the same height from the center of my crankshaft as my old seat and the same distance from my handlebar center. Using an electronic angle tool and a flat board over the seat back-to-front, I found the best angle to be 8 degrees down in front for me. I don't feel small variations (2 degrees) in the angle when I first sit on my road bike but but after 30+ minutes of riding I notice the difference.I have only ridden this saddle for a few months but if it continues to be comfortable I plan to buy a more expensive model SMP for my road bike and move this seat to my mountain bike.I've recommended this saddle to one of my riding buddies, who has been through multiple expensive saddles, but he hasn't tried it out yet.

The SMP Selle SMP TRK Gel is a fantastic bicycle seat! It's really comfortable, and I appreciate the good airflow it provides during rides. A great choice for long-distance cycling!

The saddle seems made of quality materials, it's heavy due mostly to the steel rails. My first impression was that it's hard but I suppose it will soften over time.I returned the item because a bent rail makes one side lower that the other (or higher), making the part where your testicles rest uneven, which could be a big problem in long pedalling sessions.
