Followed directions. Says clearly on label that it adheres to bare aluminum. Cleaned, scuffed up entire surface and cleaned again, as instructed. Went on nice and smooth, sprayed right off 2 days later with garden hose. Literally pollen sticks better than this stuff. Never seen anything like this. Bought another brand from local farm store, stuck no problem.

I purchased this product before and had no problems with it. The recent purchased I applied to the Aluminum and all it did was flake and peel off the next morning. The can must have been an old can or something wrong with the formula.

Overall, the product worked very well satisfied with the product itself However, the clips that they install on the can to make sure the lid does not come off in transit, actually punched through the rim of the can as I tried to remove them. I use very little force, but they are very sharp and sliced into the can an army rash and can opener

This is the best primer I have ever used. Goes on smoothly and opaquely. I use it to prime expensive brass model trains.

Works great for priming 6061-T6 aluminum on a homebuilt aircraft. If you already have spray gun equipment this is better than the rattle cans. Plus you can paint in on with a sponge brush for hard to reach spots. Would recommend, just be sure to give it a week to fully dry. Warmer temperatures help the cure too.
