The unit I received seems well built and works as intended. I didn't have any issues with mine although some reviewers did. I'd recommend it, but not for the price it was being sold at.

If you don’t have a way to straighten this out don’t buy it. The Chinese children are not very good welders

Husband needed to repair rivets on some bags, and found this tool to be exactly what he needed. It's well made, sturdy and durable, and performs as advertised.

This tool was poorly made. The ends were so far out of alignment that the rivets were just distorting rather than a proper squeeze

Should’ve read the reviews, it doesn’t even line up. I’ll heat it up and twist it to where it should be because I can but for 80 bucks I shouldn’t have to do that. Look elsewhere

This tool is all at once super valuable and very ill-used. How often do you need to fix a tubular rivet? About as often as you think. But this set is great to allow the fixes with no issues. I used it on a table that had a connector sent backwards and secured with one of these rivets. Took just a few minutes and was able to get the table up and running.
