I received the package and before I opened it I thought "I didn't know it came with a case" just based off the weight. Upon opening it and realizing the gun alone was the reason for all the weight I knew I had to send it back. With that being said, this thing is a tank. The size of the piston screams power. This would be perfect for anyone doing flat, horizontal work. I almost kept it for nailing down subfloors. But if you're anything like me you probably use a stapler for all kinds of stuff. I would not want to use this gun on a ladder or overhead. Nor would I want to use it vertically although it wouldn't be too bad I guess. Anyways, I didn't use it but I could tell it was worthy of 5 stars.

This model is the updated version of the one I had for the past 23 years of being self-employed. I've had it for a short while now and I have no complaints. It is a heavier staple gun, but it's very versatile and accurate.

Best 1/4 inch staple gun on the market. No it is not lite or small but it will set the staples well and is the most durable. I bought an earlier version of this model 20 years ago and it has held up very well and after all those years the only failure it had was the magazine wire. Bought this one while the original was down for repairs.

The gaskets leaked a little right out of the box; I had to replace them prematurely. On the first day, a staple curled out the front plastic slide. That did not affect it ever, but it was damaged nonetheless. Also, the safety mechanism that you push down before firing has to be pushed at a certain angle to fire at all. That's super annoying. and the parts are costly

Just last week I reviewed this stapler on my blog. It works very well, and the fact that it is oil-less is a real boon. According to the specs it only has two moving O-rings, cutting down substantially on parts wearing down. It does not have an adjustable air exhaust, but that is not a big deal for me. I am impressed by the five year limited warranty. If you are in the market for a heavy-duty 1/4 inch crown stapler, this guy has your name all over it.
