Fantastic toy for motor skill development. My kiddo loves it and started playing with it immediately.

Pros: Definitely a fun sensory activity, and nice calming activity to help ground your out of sorts kiddo. Or even adults, as I wound up sitting there for a full 20 minutes playing with it. Beautiful, bright colors. Love that it is two sided, extends the playtime. None of the smell that usually initially comes with these types of toys. You can tell it is durable and will stand up to multiple play sessions, its very easy to figure out and play.Cons: While the measurement of 17cm is listed (although in the states, most people think in inches), some of the pictures on the product are very misleading. It is super tiny, barely bigger than an iPhone, see photos. For the price point (currently listed at $11.99), I would expect it to be a little bigger.

I ordered this for my HS students to use in class if they need something to do with their hands. They love playing with this -- it has a nice bright colors and the board is larger so they have more options of how to configure it. I really appreciate how it came with a little carrying case so they can get it out and put it away easily.

I really like the large size of this sensory board and is the main reason I ordered this one over others on Amazon. Love the rainbow color and know my 3 year old who’s obsessed with all the colors will like it too. The silicone “strings” are thin and kind of feel like cooked pasta, they are super flexible. They go into the grooves easily, but stay better in place on the “maze” side rather than the “dotted” side. I just two complaints about this particular toy… some of the strings had some extra silicone gunk stuck to the sides. I was able to pick it off mostly. I decided to hand wash all the strings and place them back in the case before wrapping this up as a gift to my child. My other issue is the case. While it’s nice and strong and stays shut really well (which I understand why since you have a pile of silicone strings being stored on top of the sensory board applying force to the lid), it’s SUPER hard to open. My 3 year old will not be able to open this herself, I already know. That said, if you want a toddler proof case for this particular toy, then by all means this is the product for you. You could always throw this in a drawstring bag if you have one laying around and use the case for something else, which we may do. Otherwise the case makes a good firm surface for playing on in the car.
