I had a hard time finding a decent adjustable/rolling/swivel/padded drafting-height chair in my BUDGET, and I think this product rivals many of the chairs I've seen at twice the price. I've had it for ~1 week of extensive use, and I really can't think of anything really negative. I really like this chair.PROS: Took only ~10 MINUTES to unpack and assemble--only 8 screws to deal with, super convenient. All the parts were clean and fit together perfectly. I love the COLOR--the gray/silver with the black frame really lightens up the office space. The wide SEAT is well padded and super comfy. I really like the FLIP-UP ARMS, which save space when I'm not at my desk. Arms are also soft and well-padded. The LUMBAR SUPPORT looks simple, but it's adjustable and a great feature, and it fits great for me.CONS: Just like most rolling drafting chairs, the FOOTREST is a bit narrow. If you just don't like chairs with lumbar support, you won't like this chair. It can't be removed and only moves up/down.

I bought this because I needed a tall chair to accommodate my work from home situation. I put this together which was fairly easy though i noticed the arm pad was broken, then took a seat. It was AWFUL. I felt like I was falling out of it. I attempted to return the product and the seller needed photos of the box and product to consider. They evaluated and determined it was not eligible for return. They would only replace the God awful product. If i wanted to return i would have to ship it back and pay a 20% restocking fee for a broken item. Basically, still losing almost all the money i spent on the chair. This seller is awful to work with. The chair is not comfortable. Not worth the money at all

In assembly of the Naomi Home Serena drafting office chair, I did have trouble with the plastic holes lining up with the bottom of the seat and had to leave one screw out, but it was held tight by the other screws. I am a woman and did this alone. If I had another person to help squeeze the pieces together, maybe it would have fit or a man could do it.I almost had trouble screwing in the base plate to bottom of chair, but in removing all screws and trying to line up again, I got all 4 in loosely and then tightened them. You hear people telling you this often and it worked. For chair comfort, I am only 5'1" tall and this chair is a drafting-type chair, so does not go down to the ground quite as low as a regular office chair, but I knew that and my feet don't quite sit on the floor. I am using a raised platform for my feet and transcription foot pedal, so it works for my job. My desk is higher, so that is why I need a raised platform. The roll of these particular casters over the hi-low carpet is very smooth and the chair is lightweight and I can move it without it straining my shoulders or back. The swivel is also very smooth. This chair has ADJUSTABLE BACK SUPPORT for bigger/taller people. On assembly, the back support fit was tight and works fine for my shorter-depth body. It fits my spine perfectly for the first time and I don't need a back pillow. I suspect for the people who say the chair tips them forward that these are bigger/taller people. The may have not known to adjust the back support to be looser, thus allowing their longer legs to sit deeper in the chair. It has handles on the back of the support to adjust it...FOLKS. I just looked, didn't you? So, if you still have the chair, try that and update your review. THIS CHAIR IS DREAMY and I have had 3 wooden office chairs and 2 leather office chairs since working at home over the past 20 years. This one is the BEST.

My package delivered exactly when it was suppose to. All the parts were included in one easy to lift box. Instructions were at the bare minimum but easy to understand. I did toss the Allen Wrench included in the packet and used the appropriate bit on my power drill. Assembly was quick and before long, I had a beautiful office chair to replace my chair of 23 years. I had to remove the arms from my previous chair so they wouldn't run into my work station. I missed them when I just wanted to sit in my office for mini conferences. The fact that I could raise these arms out of the way when needed and lower when wanted was one of the features that drew me to this chair. I like it! The casters are smooth rollin' for now...time will tell (as it always does) if they will hold up for long. I fear I might be missing out on future exercise that I used to get with my old, worn out casters...might have to find something else to keep my thighs toned. If I remember, I'll give an update on the comfort of the seat after working with it a few days but right now, it is just fine. The lumbar support and vented mesh back are also nice and I imagine will be much appreciated this summer when my office tends to warm up. This chair at it's highest is perfect to lean back into when my desk is at it's standing/work height. Raising my desk up and down to fit a chair that did not raise high enough to use was becoming a nuisance which leaves my desk in the sitting position for more hours than it should. Right now, I'm confident that I made a good choice based on price, availability, features and apparent quality.
