They are a little tight for the axe head, which just took a bit of shaving to correct. Much preferable to being too loose!

Their shape is off a bit to where I’ve got to shave some off to get the proper fit, but not a big enough problem I can’t use them. They absolutely get the job done so for that I give them 5 stars

all three are cut with the grain 90 degrees to the blade. ONe has a knot about 1/2 way up the haft. I guess they will work for wall hangers but they won't hold up to throwing or bushcraft work.

Dilivered was timely, handles are solid as a rock. My only real complaint is having to shape them to fit the hawk head. (they are hard as a rock) They were also 18" long, not 19". I'm not going to throw a fit over that, so I used them anyway.

I like the shorter 19 inch vs the 22 in handles on some Hawks. The wood is solid and has an attractive grain.. Some fitting is required though which is no big.

I got these to replace the handles on my cold steel tomahawks. I haven't needed them yet, but I feel certain I will soon. I knew when I ordered these that they were shorter, (19 inch vs 22 inch), than the handle that came in my hawk. I did expect them to be shaped the same for the head. I have had to do more shaping than I expected to get my cold steel tomahawks to seat properly. Two of my handles have nice straight grain with no knots. The third handle has some strange swirl patterns that actually look neat, but I am afraid will cause weak spots in the handle. These handles will work for replacement handles in my tomahawks and I expect I will be using a couple of them in the near future. I wish I could find 22 inch handles. I dinged one star for the lack of straight grain in the one handle.
