I was hoping I would get a printed out version of the instructions. I saw the video, which is GREAT, but I like to have written directions to follow step by step. Especially when just learning .

I ordered this ruler for a class I was taking (Metro Rings) and it is designed perfectly for the Sew Kind of Wonderful pattern (be sure to order the appropriate ruler to go with your pattern!).It arrived in ample time for the class, so I opened the package, quickly checked the ruler, and discarded the shipping & return labels, etc. A week before the class, I noticed a crack on the right edge of the ruler...an area that is “fragile”... more susceptible to shipping damage. I taped the cracked edge and it appears to have stabilized the edge. I’m sure this happened in transit.Otherwise, no problems...it’s a brilliantly designed ruler for the pattern. I’m sure I’ll order other patterns that use this ruler!

I got this to make a few of the quilt patterns available by the same company. I spent a day working with the ruler and making one of the free patterns from their website. It was so easy! I've been quilting for years and love this new ruler and technique to make curved pieces. I love that you can use a regular rotary cutter. The instructions are very clear and easy to follow. I wish all quilting tools were this simple to use.

I actually bought this curve ruler in the small and large sizes because they were perfect for creating flower petals for my 15" blocks. The small size works for the four vertical/horizontal petals and the large size for the diagonals. I just put the rulers on a sheet of template material, used a marker to trace the petals, and cut out the template. The quilts they use these rulers for are beautiful too, so I plan to try some of their curved patterns down the road. These rulers are very high quality and I highly recommend them.
