This is a high-quality unit. I had an offset fixed on my mainline a few years back. Every now and then I get a backup and immediately think they ground settled, and the offset has returned. This sewer scope gives me peace of mine. I live in Denver and a professional sewer scope starts at $200+ with a clean-out... more without... and then there is always some add-on fees. That puts the ROI on this product at ~3-4 usages.The first thing you notice as you assemble this item is the high quality of the parts. Everything is solid -- from the camera to the case – all with threaded metal contact points. The screen is bright, and the button layout is very intuitive. Even without a plumbing background, I easily recorded how far the shuttle had travelled and took pictures of the obstruction. It has internal batteries so once you charge the unit you can take it outside and access the clean-out. It’s very light and portable by design. The camera has enough weight to it that it just glides through the pipes. LED lights surround the camera head and illuminate the main line perfectly.This unit comes with a rechargeable wand/receiver to let you pin-point the blockage above ground – a lifesaver when dealing with slab-on-grade.Gladly this time -- the blockage was biological in nature... so no need to dig anything up. I would recommend this product for prosumer usage -- in fact, you could take out an ad and probably make a good living scoping lines for your neighbors.Great product. The boot-up screen includes the companies contact information -- nice touch!
