Great kit works perfect in a pack for repairs on the trail. Works on clothes and gear. Compact and lightweight so it will not get in the way or add weight to your kit

This is a basic military sewing kit. Thread colors match camouflage uniforms. I’m retired military, and purchased this kit so I could sew patches on my son’s Boy Scout uniform, which is khaki. When I was Active Duty, I used kits by the same company to sew patches on my uniforms.

Although the thread colours are good, the rest of the kit is garbage. The cover is a thin, cheap plastic, the pins hang out the sides when you close it, and the scissors fall out because they're just being held by a large slit in the plastic.Very, very disappointed with this item. If my nephew wasn't leaving for basic training soon, I'd return this and find something better.

Sorry I bought it. I was looking for something small and durable to carry in my pocketbook and this just wasn't going to work for me. The cover is made of cheap plastic and very thin. The contents are basic and usable. I threw out the cover and put everything in a small zippered change purse instead. I should have saved my money.
