I am a beginner with no concept of sewing on the sewing machine.It's a little overwhelming, because I don't know much about any of these pieces, but it appears that it has everything I need to learn and get started.It is small, lightweight, and seems to have a lot of features. It appears to be sturdy, and I hope it functions well.I cannot say much about the stitching accuracy, quality or functionality since this will be my first time using a sewing machine.Comparing this to similar sewing machines this seems to be priced accordingly, at 69.99.

While not a beginner, I got this for light sewing duties around the house. Never know when you need to fix a tear or add a button. It's small, easy to use and works. For the price, you can't go wrong, and would be great for beginners as well.Shipped and arrived quickly.

I actually make wigs and needed a sewing machine the sewing process. This sewing machine for beginners is not heavy so very easy to carry around. The 12 different stitches are great, pedal has 2 speed and easy to use and press. Seems overwhelming but very easy to use.

If you don't have any experience with sewing, I'd say that this is an easy to learn machine for beginners. The machine comes pre-threaded but the instruction booklet explains everything. It includes several needles, bobbins and thread. The bobbins are only white and black thread, but I imagine it would be relatively simple to transfer the colored thread to the bobbin if that's what you wanted to use. The foot pedal and power cord do appear a little cheap and the power cord is rather short; wish it was longer. You can use batteries as well though (4 AA batteries). The machine works by the pedal or a switch. The pedal is much easier to control. I was able to hem some jeans and it worked well. I like that there are a variety patterns for stitching. I do wish it came with a storage bag or case, so I'll have to get that separately. Overall, this is a good beginner machine.

~A snitch in time saves & this works mighty fine~Loaded with lots of extras including threads, needles, different pressure foots & different thread choices make this well worth the money.Seems to be built very well as it speeds & zips thru the material with ease, no problems what so every to use. Easy to use & understand even for a beginner.

What a great little sewing machine this is! I am so impressed. I had just purchased my first sewing machine when this little machine became available to me. I use it on my deck to sew. It is so easy to grab this little machine, and my portable sewing supply bag, and set up on my patio table in the warm morning sun. I grab a cup of coffee and I am in sewing bliss for a few hours. It’s a fantastic setup. The sewing machine itself is a gem. It works almost exactly like a full sized machine, but with just a little bit less pep, or oompf. I have the choice of plugging in or using batteries. I like to use the batteries, but the machine seems to have more power plugged into the outdoor wall outlet. The controls and accessories are all familiar and threading is easy and straightforward. The accessories provided are all handy to have. The little snipper scissors has proven to be one of the best snips I have ever had. It squeezes smoothly and is fun to use. I appreciate all the different color thread that’s provided. I sit on the deck and play with this machine every morning and I love it!

I really wanted to give this Mini Household Sewing Machine a good review. Unfortunately this is not a quality product. It worked great for a few minutes. Then it just stopped working. The presser foot and take up lever are wobbly. The foot pedal is very light and takes a little getting used to. The power cord is very short and will probable need an extension cord. The light on the machine requires 4 AA batteries and it works great. The machine is designed for small threat spools. Regular thread spools will not work on it.
