There isn't a double axe handle around that doesn't need to be replaced at some point and I have always sworn on the gods of wood but someone told me to try this fiberglass handle and wow, I love it. It doesn't jar my arms, it distributes the shock, feels solid and gets the job done.Maybe they are not all like mine but I just might try one of these SEYMOUR axe handles on one of my other axes down the road, it really is that good. FIVE STARS!

Very nice handle. I would give some advice though. Seal around the base of the axe head with caulk or super glue before applying the epoxy. There is just enough epoxy to do the job. No extra at all. Altogether, very good value.

I trimmed the outer cover to get it to fit. It was labeled for a double bit axe and I was installing it in a Pulaski, which appeared to be the same size and shape.

I see a lot of comments about not enouph epoxy to fill the head space on yhese fiberglass handles. Simple, just throw in some BB's or some small nuts and bolts from the junk draw. These handles are well worth the cost and outlast all wooden handles, especially when your aim is as bad as mine.

Very good looking fiberglass handle. Had to trim quite a bit of plastic material at the head end to fit the Pulaski Axe, but after some work, it looks & feels great. Shipped with 2 epoxy glue packs, which was adequate for filling the void space between the axe head and the handle.

This handle is just what I was looking for to re-handle my double axe. They are hard to find anywhere in a big box or little box store. The major down side is that they only provided on pack of striking tool adhesive and you really need three packs to fill the large head opening of a double bladed axe head. Poor product execution. I see amazon recommending you buy extra adhesive, but that is silliness to me. The manufacturer should provide the proper amount for the anticipated application. So, now I have to spend $7-10 more and wait another week to finish the job.
