The item is cute and nicely packaged but it’s not meant for anything heavy duty. It used up ,two spools of line and both fully charged batteries in less than 10 minutes and i barely cut a 2ft by 3ft area. Also, the line continually cuts and i have 5 giant blood blisters on my leg now from getting hit from the cut line and i was wearing pants. Also, the line kept wrapping around the spool requiring me to flip it upside down and unravel the line and cut it with a pair of dykes. Again, i was trying to cut 2 foot high weeds which were just too much for this little unit. Maybe it would work great for light duty trimming, but i was hoping it would conquer my yard, but it just couldn’t handle it.

I live in a mobile home community and a nice woman was cutting our grass for awhile but she had knee surgery, and we no longer have a shed so I bought this trimmer to be my lawn mower, edger and trimmer. I did my whole backyard and side yard with one battery and I love there's a whole other battery they gave you and a lot of the spools of cord. This is a really great value and I even got a better value with the coupon and the payment plan. It was even drizzling and it still worked great after being a little bit damp.

Nice and light. Seems well made. Good battery life. Not quite as powerful as a gas or corded unit, but adequate for light duty trimming and much more convenient

I don’t see how it gets a 5 star rating I have been useing weed eaters for a long time and I have never seen that will run for a short time and stop and you have to wait a while and it will start agian the day will be over by the time you get it all cut doesn’t meet my approval I was able to send it back

I'll save you some time and money. this is cheap trash.40v version uses 2x 20v batteries whic are probably the cheapest tool battery I've ever seen.The batteries and charger are cheap and have no fire safety ratings so that's an instant no from me.The handle comes in 2 parts which I figure is normal but it has a strange safety on it and it will not run on only 1 battery. The Business end is just a fairly weak motor hooked directly to the cutter. The motor at full charge is not fast enough to cut grass. There is not enough ventilation to cool the motor and since the motor is on the business end The moment it gets wet it will fail.The 2 ends actually plug together and are bound with a cheap nylon biproduct screw coupler.This is by far the most impressive piece of cheap trash I have ever seen and I will not use it. I will be returning it.At least I had a good laugh.I still can't believe it didn't even spin fast.I stand by most of my previous review. It has enough power to cut through some serious blackberry bushes. I think I ran it non stop for 45 minutes before it started to torque out.Works very well.My previous review stands but I am impressed with this abomination.3/10 will clear bushes, might not work, possible fire hazard do not leave batteries unattended while charging. Bad batteries.Oh ya I used 3 spools of the wire in am hour.

and works well I was definitely skeptical about ordering this product because the price was so low and I previously had a Ryobi battery powered trimmer that I really liked. This trimmer was easy to assemble and does a fantastic job of trimming. I am extremely happy with my purchase.Also, it is quite lightweight and not very noisy. The battery charge holds quite a bit. I've actually not had to switch batteries out and I have a good size backyard that I trim many areas around gardens and such in. This trimmer has held up to my fall clean out as well which involves getting rid of some pretty large flowers and plants.

Not heavy, easy to use, great for mom. Works well, battery lasted. It’s not a heavy duty cutter, but just grassy areas corners around trees it’s excellent.
