They said that no removal of the guard to install on my model Bosch saw. I couldn't install it without removing the guard. What that means is every time I want to turn on the light I have to remove the guard!!!??? If that's the case then it's going back.UPDATE: After relocating the power cord clamps I was able to get the guard back far enough to operate the light. So now I have to agree with another reviewer who mentioned that the cradle that holds the light is not very secure and seems warped. I will be replacing it with a new one to see if it's better.UPDATE AGAIN: This is my second one that is misshapened but it also looks like a dog chewed it. Crappy quality control but a very good idea.ALSO: by adjusting the power cord clamps on my saw, I am now able to reach the switch to turn on the light.

I own a Bosch GCM12SD miter saw. This model has a lot of features, but what it doesn't have is a laser line for cutting accuracy. I considered many product offerings and found that the ShadowShed would be ideal. The installation is easy and the Oclip light fits tightly on the bracket. The only problem I find is that the bracket is not very snug on the saw guard. I don't believe it will fall off, but it leaves a lot in this respect. When using the light, it provides a very thin shadow on the workpiece, this is a plus. Access to the switch and charging is not very convenience, but acceptable. My only other concern is forgetting to turn the light off after using it, since this must be done manually. Improvement in the bracket design would be nice so that the bracket fits tighter.
