JUST SHUSH UP AND LISTEN TO ME, you can't find a conventional reel with a THIRTY INCH retrieve under 100 bucks, it doesn't exist! Abu Garcia?? Piscifun? Are you kidding me? This reel has almost twice the drag and 4inches more per turn than the Ambassadeur at half the price! Meanwhile, the Piscifun Chaos has a plastic line guide, weak bite clicker, uncomfortable skinny metal drag wheel, overall quality component issues, and is 10 dollars more expensive. Whoever is in charge of marketing this should be ashamed. There is no reason for this reel to not be the undisputed default fishing reel.... Infuriatingly well designed, and reasonably priced.

I’ve used these reels two seasons now, with no problems. I love that everything is kinda oversized. They cast pretty descent too, for a line counter reel. My wife uses and loves these too. Very loud bait clickers too, if u need those. I mostly love the fact that they’re cheap. If one tears up, I’ll just buy another. Like I said I’ve had these two seasons with no troubles at all

Looks good, feels sturdy enough for the price. It seems like it will be easy to service. Comes from a reputable brand and feels like it hold up long enough to learn how to use this type of reel without a major investment. Budget catfish reel for me. I will probably buy another soon.

The line counter is very cheap, if I bump it, the line count will change by several feet as the line is going out.

I bought 2 and they work pretty well, no complaints. They are a good value for a ''lower end'' Trolling reel. I would give them 5 stars, but they are really an ''economy class reel''.

This reel casts effortlessly and works well with reeling in all different sized sinkers and fish 🎣 I am just trying to get used to the depth clicker on it, it’s noisy and we have a depth finder on the boat but I suppose it’s a good addition if your fishing without a boat! Overall it a solid reel and hasn’t given me any issues, smooth drag, no tangles, hasn’t jammed or any other problems.

Looks and feels good and works good except for the line counter. It's way out of calibration which is disappointing because that's why I bought this reel.

I shopped around quite extensively before settling on this reel. Having owned several Penn and Diawa saltwater trolling reels in the past, I bought this one in hopes it would be "as good" as my previous ones. And the answer is "Yes", it is! As this is a lighter weight reel, I use it in freshwater for trolling and for that it is excellent, it needs a few years of break-in to get everything loosened up a bit, but it works just as a new reel should. The clicker is nice, crisp and a bit on the loud side, (as several other reviews have noted), but that's a good thing and not bad. A flip of the lever and the clicker is off which is nice when pulling in nice size fish. The level wind and star drag works as the Penns and heavier Daiwas, although it is not as "beefy" that is not as important to me now as it was out at sea catching bigger fish. I haven't had it torn apart yet, so I don't know how easy it will be to service, that will come a little later after the fishing season is done. For the money, this reel fills the bill perfectly and it's exactly what I needed for trolling the lakes and rivers here in Oregon.
