Yes you do need to be careful not to over torque the hex screws.Use Just enough torque to keep them in place.Don't over torque the lug nut enough to budge the hex nut too tight against the bearing washer.

Not for Tamiya TT02s...since the bore is way bigger than the shaft, just trying to thighten the set screw make the hub to be in an not aligned position. Awful...
