Bought this to install in-line to the water that feeds my cottage. The lines run through and an unheated closet and are prone to freezing in the winter so I put this in so I could shut the water off and drain the lines before the freeze. Shutoff valve and bleeder worked like a charm!

Installed as shutoff for outside tap. It fit easily and well without soldering or pipe fitting. Covered access with a discrete door. Sharkbite expedited the application!

With the 25 year warranty on these new Sharkbite Max models it definitely gives more piece of mind. I had a badly leaking faucet outside and was able to quickly fix them with pex tubing without costing an arm and a leg.
