Packaging states 1/2' x 1/2" but fittings are actually 3/8" O.D. No way they will work on 1/2" PEX as described.

I'm plumbing a weekend cabin from scratch with all PEX. Naturally I ran a bit short on the cold water line and needed to connect a second line of pipe mid stream. These couplings fit the half inch PEX exactly and my crimps are tight and secure.
