My gearshift knob gets scorching hot when parked in the sun. This prevents 3rd degree burns. I wouldn't use this when I'm driving like I mean it, but for daily transport, it's just fine. I'm going to order a couple more in case it gets dirty. It's a cloth-like substance.

We're having an issue with car thefts, and this makes me more comfortable.

hard to initially install due to the tight fit. it serves it purpose (keeping the metal shifter cool in summer, warmer in winter in addition to acting as a cover to prevent deterioration of my shift know (yes, I'm OCD).

I have a metal shift knob. This works great.

I got this to cover a Teton Workshop metal shift knob for the hot summers in Arizona. This cover is nicely made, but way too small for most applications I’ve looked at. I contacted the seller and they said they won’t make them any larger at this time. It is too short. I’ll keep it, but hope they make one slightly longer.

This arrived sooner than I expected which is always a major bonus. I put it on my Mazda Miata stick shift and it fit perfectly, like it was made for that car. Great product and extremely affordable! I highly recommend.

Nice quality and fit, it is really snug but my aftermarket shift knob is actually really big so all in all I am quite happy for the price!

Works great for making sure my shift knob isn’t so hot on summer days. Moves around a little while shifting but not a huge problem.
