It was real and had the correct directional cuts in front and back. Chamfered in center pieces for smooth shifting.Works great.

Does what it says on the box. Solid chain and works really well on my commute bike. Also it's a rivited chain so you'll need a chain tool to fit it

My chain came with a quick link, to which I was surprised because other reviewers said theirs did not. Other than that, it was a direct replacement for my (105 groupset) OEM chain. I removed the factory lube from the chain, soaking in mineral spirits overnight, wiped it down and then gave it a good spray with automotive brake cleaner. Once that evaporated off, I sized the chain properly and then put my favorite lube (Rock and Roll Gold) in a zip lock bag along with the chain and allowed the lube to soak in real well. I gave the cogs, sprockets and derailleurs a good cleaning and then installed the chain, observing direction of chain and quick link. Looking forward to my next ride.

I have purchased two of these, one year apart. The first one came with a quick-link, which broke loose during a 15% grade climb after about 1000km. That is not cool. I had already reordered the same item in preparation for the inevitable replacement, and when I went to install it I saw that there was no quick-link included this time. The instructions referred to a QR for link to user manual. That was a joke, as it linked to the same generic safety garble with no instructions at all.I just re-used the rivet I pushed out to shorten it to the right length, and that seems to be fine. This is how we always did it back in the old days. Never had a chain come apart EVER back then. Avoid the quick-link.

This chain is well made and priced. It doesn’t come with a quick link but it can be fitted with one. Just make sure you match the chain speed 9, 10, 11 etc.. I’m using for an ebike with good results. It Shimano and Shimano is good.

The chains got to my house on a time and in great condition. It was in its original box and the box was not tempered with. So get your chains and get ready to ride.

I bought this for my Fuji road bicycle, to replace my chain normal at 4000 miles as they chain gauge hit .05 or more but not .075 to save the sprockets well worth it but there are some other product just as good so shop around for what you are looking for.
