Came with everything I needed, hose, two nuts (in my car for the road caliper end one was used), two barbs, two olives. I had 10mm to spare off the 1700mm rear brake hose kit I got. It did not come with yellow blocks for barb insertion but I already own those.

Great quality and my cable came WITH the 2 olives and 2 end inserts needed (I have the vice blocks to grip the outer while tapping in the insert, if you don't, don't even attempt it! )

Good product, but the package I got did not have the two blocks for holding the hose to install the barbs. The pic in the description shows the contents listed on the bottom of the package including the holding blocks, my package did not show the blocks or contain them. I was able to rig up a fixture to hold the hose for barb installation, but if you don't have some way to clamp the hose the barbs are extremely difficult to install.

If you are buying this, then you already are aware of what levers and caliper combinations are compatible. Be proficient in bicycle service, or go support your local bike shop. This item was exactly as described unlike some previous reviews. Shimano uses several different fittings for their different models and generations of hydraulic disc brakes. You have to be smarter than the tools you work with for this to be a part to invest in.
