Your cart is empty.The Shimano Dura-Ace groupset is well known for its precision engineering. This engineering extends into every part of the groupset, including the 9000-series Chainring. The DA 9000 chainring is made from alloy that has been carbide-reinforced. Carbide is often used in drill tips for longevity and durability, and you'll find those same qualities extend to the chainring. Additionally, the teeth on the rings receive less wear, making for consistent, smooth shifting. But, as perfect as these chainrings are, they are only compatible with Shimano 11-Speed road drivetrains.

Dura Ace is stupidly expensive, but works so well. This is the best price I could find. Looks very nice, matches my group set.

Its Dura-Ace! Other than being expensive, DA is faultless! I bought this for the gently rolling sandhills to coastal section of a mountains to the sea to replace my 34 tooth inner ring. Even at the coast, with a brutal headwind climbing up the steep bridges, I didn't budge out of my 50 tooth last year as my 34 tooth was uselessly undergeared. This ( I actually would like a 44T-SHIMANO are you listening?) should provide a reasonable gear. Note to amateur mechanics-you can put a larger inner ring on a crankset with little problem, but putting a SMALLER inner ring or changing either way on the outer ring is a different story.

Dura-Ace 9000 works perfectly with Ultegra 6800. I was looking to swap out the 34T on my compact crankset to create a different combination and this did the trick. Shifts cleanly. Not much more to say... Ultegra and Dura-Ace are solid reliable products from Shimano.

We are constantly changing gears around, and it is very simple with the Dura-Ace set up, but you have to use anti-seize or you will be sorry.
