4th set from this vendor. Genuine product. Long lasting. High quality. The first set gave me 14k miles and were still serviceable when I replaced them with the 4th. I average 240 miles a week and this product is on the 3 pairs of shoes I ride in.

Five stars if you are a pro or not old. :DThe cleats worked exactly as they should, and were the consistent high quality. If you are not a pro or a spring chicken, then please consider that no float may wreck your knees. It did mine! i switched back to the yellow cleats with 6 degree float and the pain went away immediately on my next century ride.

I had the yellow ones SH11 the 6 degree float I didn't like them even though they do exactly what they're supposed to do, for cruising I guess it's cool, and from what I read it's good for some people and their knees, but for me, when I'm dancing and trying to accelerate or in Hills I do not like the sensation of my feet moving, the SH10 red ones are perfect it feels like you are just one with your whole entire bike and it feels good.

I got these about 3 months ago and have already put them through some serious strain and have held up like champions! They're sturdy, light, and affordable, what more can you ask for? I would suggest buying the cleat protectors so you don't slip when off the bike though. The first time I wore these I didn't have the protectors and I slipped the moment I stepped on a tiled floor, embarrassing...

These are full quality shimano parts, assuming you are already pleased with the spd-2 system itself, these helped me to take out what felt more like slack than float and really reduste the rotation needed to unclip, but not in an unsteady or unpredictable way.A side note: if you're happy with your current cleat location and want these right back on that spot I recommend a silver sharpie to trace the originals. Really stands out if you have black plastic like 90% of shoes out there and stays visible for a full season or better.

These are the non-float cleats, meaning, when you are clipped in, you can't rotate your feet at all once engaged - any rotation at all will disengage you from the pedal. Good form only required here! Theoretically, this is more efficient than having 3-6° of float since you aren't wasting energy/force into a "rotating" foot, with that said, if you don't have a very "straight" pedal stroke you will find these to be painful, especially over long distances. These work great for me, but they took a little dialing in to get them to feel good. I recommend these for an experienced cyclist who is comfortable with their own adjustments. Not for a newbie!!!
