I have used a series of cleaner over the years for my firearms. But none work as good as this one. While other clean well and boast of environmental friendliness,Shooter's Choice really goes to work on carbon fouling. Yes, it's a very strong smelling and i suggest gloves for those with delicate skin. It's only to be used in a well ventilated room since this is bound to linger in the living room once you are done cleaning. I never had negative effects on my weapons, Blued or Stainless, But use caution if your weapon has plastic furniture. That being said i have seen no ill effects on the Glock polymers that have come in accidental contact. This is STRICTLY for the bore.
