Like how sturdy the vice is. Found assembly to be very easy. Definitely makes gun cleaning easier. Would recommend this product. A little pricey but worth it.

I switched from the Tipton Best Gun Vice to the CTK. I didn't initially buy the shooting rest attachment. The rest is the perfect addition to the gun vise. I use it primarily for for cleaning or working at the range. the rest makes easy to zero sites or use a a rest when I am measuring loads. CTK is a solid company with a solid product.

I did my research, if I was going to spend this much money on a rest I wanted a quality one. I feel I made an excellent choice, it has been used to hold for detailing and painting emblems, for bore-sighting and will be used for zeroing very soon. Everything stays firmly in place once you set it and lock it down, seems well built and thought out.

supplemental review for the shooting rest that is an addition to the gun vise (see my review on that). This added to the gun vise makes for an excellent shooting platform. And the obvious part is that you have an outstanding 2 in 1 device that is rock solid and well built. I have other shooting rests and there are now gathering dust as this (and the gun vise) are what I now take to the range.

Excellent quality and works with CTK's P3 Ultimate Gun Vise, just as advertised and shown.I haven't shot with it, but it attaches very solid and feels like there would be plenty of support to allow subsequent shots without the need to adjust.1 piece of advice, if you purchase this as an add-on to the vise, as I did, install this BEFORE attaching the legs in the vise instructions or you'll have to take the vise rear leg off... Oops.Also, the instructions are really just a picture of all the pieces and you put it all together. They are not Step 1, Step 2, which was a bit confusing at first, but the quality of the stand, vise and rest is so excellent, this isn't an issue worth dropping this review to 4 stars. Just take your time and look close at the pictures and you'll have everything together in 10 minutes.

My only complaint, is that this should come with such an expensive gun vise. It works great, and would have gotten five stars if it wasn't so much money. After seeing several other vises, I am VERY pleased with this vise. Great build quality and made with a lot of common components. So it will be easy to maintain over the years. ( I know this review is only for the rest, but it is an intrinsic component of the whole unit, so I thought I would mention it as that). Thanks for your time.

I got this as an add-on to the vise product i have not used to fired live round but for bore siting it worked very well i don't see any issues with thisUPDATE 6-jun-2013I have now used this 2 times to fire my AR-10 (308) and it is flawless it dos not move and the adjustment are easy, I did have to put a little of the wd-40 lithium grease to help stuff get moving but now its great !the cloth does like to lift off, and i think some super-77 will fix that. If not i may tape it down.still stand by the 5 star rating
