The adjustability is nice, and the top components feel fairly decent once assembled. It's easy enough to put together. The base however is not meeting my expectations. The 3 legs have an awkward mechanism that doesn't feel intuitive in how you lock/unlock it. Once fully deployed, the legs are not able to stabilize the unit, and they give out too easily for myself to find practical use for this setup. I would need to see honestly a revisit to the design of the legs/base to feel differently about this kit.Likes:- The foam handle is comfortable and grippy.- The V head is solid.- Adjustable.- Fairly easy to assemble, though a bit more in the way of components than I'd prefer. Simplicity could improve it.Dislikes:- The 3 legs are not able to stabilize this unit. They wobble and give out easily. Considering this is supposed to be a tool for stability - it seems fair to assume that stability should be it's strong suit.- Not the most intuitive design the way the legs fold out and lock/unlock.- The foam on the base doesn't seem a great choice for longevity in the outdoors. Though it's comfortable and grippy in the short term.

Instructions were not included, and it took me a bit to figure out how to assemble and extend the base. The aluminum shaft and plastic retention clamps don’t feel premium. The base is made of steel and plastic and folds downwards. There are spring loaded release/locking pins that you need to press to properly extend/fold them. The ¼” threaded attachment point to the stick is not the best. Screwing it onto the stick is fine, but the locking sleeve that prevents the stick from tipping over (as it’s attached via a ball joint) causes the stick to get unscrewed when you’re trying to tighten the sleeve against the legs. A better retention system may have been helpful. The V yoke attaches to the top via a standard 1/4” threaded post. The yolk has a hard rubberized textured padding to grip your rifle without causing damage.Height can be adjusted from 22” to 62”. With it completely extended, it becomes unstable on the base and tends to lean in one direction.Overall, the shooting stick didn’t impress. There are too many moving parts that needs to be adjusted and when hunting, you may need to be quick. If sitting in a blind the stick didn’t feel stable to stand on its own 3 legs and may operate better without it.At the time of this review, the shooting stick was on sale and priced at $45.59.

There is zero stability to this product and the quality is absolutely horrible.

It is to loose at the ball joint. When you extendIt out it just falls over. I don’t recommend buying this product.
