Filter is fine, photo is misleading because you think you’re buying two filter and foam combos but further down the quantity is only one.

So pleased to be done collaring a flat-sheet paper filter in my shop vac. The dry element filter for the Shop Vac is awesome. I combined it with a bag so when I vacuum indoor the motor blows very little dust out the exhaust. The wet element is not quite as snug as the Shop Vac original, but it has been working for wet vacuuming.

DO NOT TRY TO FIT THE FOAM PREFILTER OVER THE HEPA FILTER. It will rip. Otherwise, the HEPA filter fits fine and seems to work fine. I contacted the seller to get a replacement foam prefilter. My OEM manual instructed to use the foam prefilter for wet vacuuming, and the HEPA for dry. I remember using a blue paper prefilter with a retention ring that slipped onto the unit with the original purchase, but I lost that a long time ago.
