Needed a shifter handle for a Tremec Magnum F. I had to enlarge the through holes to 3/8 for it to work, but for the money I have zero complaints. Affordable solution for my need.Shifter ball from 2000 Trans Am does fit, and it’s a great length

The fact that it angles so much toward the driver doesn’t really bother me. You get used to it very quickly, and then actually like it. The only issue is that the factory shift stick has a curve in it so that it doesn’t hit the center console when shifting back into 2nd, 4th and 6th. This shift stick is straight. If I shift really fast into 2nd, it’ll hit. The other gears are fine, so I just make sure I give a gentle 2nd shift. I do really prefer the shorter shifter. It’s amazing how much an inch or so makes. Super precise. Install was very easy. If it was still curved I’d give it 5 stars.

Fits well with no modifications. Also fits original camaro t56 shift knob.Only wish it bolted straight and not slanted like it is today since im retrofiting trans into another car... Although it still works.
