Everything on the bag is lightweight, and not terribly sturdy. The upper pouch will hold a box of 25, 12ga shotshells, though it is very tight to get the box in it, which I guess is what you want. It should loosen up a bit with use. There are two shell sleeves sewn into one side, which is handy for those misfires. The pouch for the empty hulls is huge and looks like it would hold four boxes of spent shot shells. Zippered bottom makes emptying it a snap. The waist belt, like the rest of this belt, is light weight. If you want to save, or have to take your hulls with you, this bag will do the job. The value and functionality for the money make it five stars.

I just recently acquired an over/under for clay shooting and this shell pouch is nice for both keeping shells handy for loading and having a place to throw the empties without scattering them on the ground to get dirty and trampled. For those that save their shells for reloading, this is a plus. Additionally, it has a zipper in the bottom of the large pouch so you can transfer the empties into a box without dumping your live ammo. There are also a couple elastic loops on the upper (small) pouch where I suppose you could keep different chokes for your barrel. The nylon belt is wide, comfortable, and easily adjustable and the buckle clicks together somewhat like a seatbelt for a quick on/off after its already adjusted. Its a great value as a range accessory.

When out target practicing with my buddies and they were giving me a hard time about my fanny pack. So now I dual wield this ammo belt for empties and a fanny pack. While I don't look like Rambo, it functions well. I would like a draw string or a way to tighten up the top as when I bend over sometimes shells try to slip out, but that's only when it's getting pretty full. Also, at the end of the session sometimes there is no trash can nearby and a way to keep shells in the bag would be nice.

I've been shooting trap for over 20 years. I normally wear a shooting vest so don't need a bag then, but in the heat of summer I use a bag and they are nice for beginner shooters also. That said, when I saw this $10 bag I figured I'd get it to review and have to share with shooters I teach. I was truly impressed with the quality of this for the $$. It holds a full box of shells up top as most do, but the bag is larger than I expected. I may even hold 100 empties! AND, the bag has a zipper in the bottom so it's quick and easy to empty. It's a great value bag. You won't be dissapointed.

This belt can be worn left or right. The upper pocket holds an entire box of shells and the lower pocket is large enough to hold all your empty cases to be reloaded. Even if you don’t plan to reload I prefer to not just drop my empties on the ground for the staff at the range to clean up. The zipper in the bottom of the lower pocket is perfect to empty the pouch without having to take the belt off, just unzip, shake and go. The belt is wide enough that wearing it for a long day of clays it is still comfortable even completely loaded. Nice belt for a beginner and has been built sturdy enough to last.

this is bigger than I thought it would be and seriously looks a bit ridiculous on your hip. with that said...it does exactly what it says it does. and it does it well.

I've only had this to the range one time, but it worked very well. The belt holds the pouch securely in place, to have your shells close at hand and a place for the empty hulls. The shell holder pouch fits a box of 25 12 gauge shells snuggly, and I expect a box of 20 ga. shells would be easier to put in, but might move around just a bit. It includes slots for two spare shells, which is a nice touch for competition where you're allowed to carry those two extras and don't want to be fumbling in your pockets if you have a misfire or other issue. The larger mesh bag will easily hold 50 (maybe even 100) empties, so you don't need to empty it after each round. It includes a zippered bottom, so you could dump them into a can (if you stand next to it just right) without having to touch each of the shells a second time.

This this is big. Too big, I think. The main pouch could hold 100+ empty shells with ease. It is probably best suited for a round of 75 sporting clays in the woods. Too big for a round of trap. The main pouch has a zipper on the bottom to dump your shells. It's a complete waste since the top is open and you can just tip the bag over to dump them. The zipper jingles as you walk too which is annoying. The belt is adjustable. I'm 5'11" 200lbs with a decent belly and it had a lot of strap left over. There is nothing to tuck the extra strap in, so it just hangs there. I'm no fashionista, but it looks goofy. It's sturdy though and works.
