Made of a type of styrofoam product. Defiantly made for a small head and does not prevent water from getting on the face.

This is not fit for adults even though it says it is. Material is not great, but the size isn't as it's advertised anyway.

My daughter has a lot of hair takes about a hour to wash n condition n comb out.. flimsy and don't fit like it should.. waste of money..should of spent few more dollars for a better one

Bought for young adult with brain injury. Had to add Velcro straps to get it to fit. They won’t wear it even though it would help keep water out of eyes/ears. Did wear once in hospital- hard to scrub hair close to foam and keep on head at the same time. Super light weight.

This item works for caregivers for seniors that have issues with getting water in their face as do children. It does have secure snaps and adjusts to size. Keeps water and shampoo from flowing into the eyes and face. Also has flaps to be sure no water gets in the ears.
