I needed something to help point our shower head down a little more. This did the trick.

The part arrived promptly and looked like it was made of good quality. It also included a small spool of Teflon tape.It wasn't easy to turn the ball until it was installed. However, I couldn't find a way to tighten the ball to keep it at a certain level. The shower body that held a stationary sprayer head and a secondary hand held piece were too heavy to keep the ball pointing forward.

Works great IF you attach the showerhead to it FIRST and then attach to the pipe and then adjust the showerhead. Would help if there had been just a short bit of instructions with it stating this as I returned it the first time because I couldn't budge it not matter how I tried. Appreciate the review of 8/1.

Very easy to install. When you first take the joint out of the box, you can't move it easily but once it's installed it you have the leverage to adjust it and it firmly holds the shower head in whatever position you prefer.
