The black finish on these seems very firm and doesn't chip or offset but the rings are about half good and half not good. Some hold really well while others just let go completely and will not stay latched which makes them useless.

These have brought such joy to my marriage. For years my husband fumbled around his shower curtain with broken rings and it drove me insane. Every day, water on the floor and a shower curtain that looked like someone threw it on the bar from 10ft away. I once assaulted him over his gross bathroom. Since these have arrived along with a new curtain, I have been much happier and satisfied with his bathroom. They have lasted a year and still hold strong.
