We have 3 of these already, connected all together and working very well for the past 3 years. No issues. Adding a fourth one as we got extra mics and packs, so we can make sure all is ready to go when needed. The panel with LEDs is very simple to read and shows what you need to know and see: batteries are ready or charging. Shure has updated the battery model to SB900B - the great thing about this charger is that it charges either models, the old SB900A and the new SB900B.

This battery lasts for times longer than the 2 AA batteries. I bought 2 and the charger and have no more worries

This battery powers up the QLXD1 but I cannot close the door on the transmitter. It is just a little too high . Yes it is all the way in but no way to close the door on the transmitter.Update...I emailed shure support and they were fast getting back to me. You need to remove the adapter on the door of QLXD1. All works as expected now

It works great no issues just wish this came as part of the psm300 system and the price needs to be way cheaper but other then that it’s working so far

Not Amazon’s fault, but the battery is sold without a charger, and there is no indication you need to spend more money. Shame on you Shure...!!!

Charges the battery quickly. Especially like how all of the parts can be broken down so that you don't have to rely on wall power to run the charger (if you have a charging-capable usb port available), and it can all fit nicely in a gig bag to take on the road

This device will allow you to charge one or two Shure lithium batteries either in the microphone or in their battery holder. If you want to charge the batteries in the mic, you'll have to slip off the ring that covers the battery terminals. This can be a little difficult for new mics, but it's no big problem. The charger is reasonably sturdy plastic. I think it's overpriced, but you don't have any alternatives. And it is really convenient to be able to just pop the mics in the charger rather than open them up and remove the battery clips. Two or more chargers can be screwed together to make a single unit. So far, it's been quite satisfactory.

We use these with all of our wireless devices. From handheld mics to bodybacks these work great and allow us to see down to the minute if the battery will die during our church service or practice. We've owned some of these for over 2 years now and they are still going strong. I would highly recommend this to anyone who uses their mics on a regular basis as I can't even begin to count how much money we would have spent in AA batteries.

A very necessary addition to my Shure IEM setup! This lasts multiple gigs instead of one (alkaline batteries lasted approx 4-5 hours, and I think I accidentally got this one through about 10, and still had two bars left - I probably had 5 more hours of use, but I wasn't going to find that out mid-gig). The only frustration is that the IEM doesn't have a way to charge the battery in the receiver (the Shure GLX-D comes with a lithium-ion battery AND is chargeable in the unit, comes with a cord), so a separate charger is required, costing me another $60.

The ability to charge the unit in or out of the Mic was a great addition. I can charge the unit between sets by just placing it in the holder, or removing the battery pack and placing it in the slot assigned for it. I can also charge the mic and a spare battery at the same time!!
