The macerator on my RV sink stopped working. This got it working again, good as new. Easy install. Works great.

The macerator pump on our recently purchased used RV would run in an attempt to empty the gray tank but was not moving any fluid. After much effort to extract the pump from the bowels of the service bay I discovered that it likely was once winterized or someone used a drain cleaner with an impeller softening fluid that essentially melted the old impeller into mush. The impeller kit worked perfectly and the rebuilt pump was remounted at a new location that would allow for much easier service and drainage for winterizing the RV.

My macerate pump was labeled Thrtford # 62-5800-6004-HB, is really a Shurflow 3200-200. I use it to emptying my RV holding tanks. This is exactly what I needed to repair my worn out impeller. It comes with the needed gaskets and instructions for an easy DIY change out. Shouldn't take more than an hour to change it out.

The item works as designed and advertized, I just wish they'd make the gasket a little more durable. It falls apart just looking at it and is a challenge to install without ripping it just catching it in the screw holes. It's like a very thin flimsy foam material. Cheap cheap!

Camping World wanted over $250 to fix my macerator pump on my RV black water tank. This kit allowed me to make the repair for ~$35. Sure, it was not a pleasant job to deal with a black water tank, but heck, we've all changed diapers at some point in our lives, so you can handle it. Replacement of the impeller was simple. Just a few screws, pop the old impeller off and push the new one on. Change out took 10-15 minutes.
