The World's Best Deck Brush! Built to Shurhold's famous quality standards, these 6 inch (15 cm) deck brushes come in five textures and are compatible with any Shurhold handle.
Shurhold's classic series of 6 inch (15 cm) deck brushes that easily and positively lock into any Shurhold handle. Each brush is carved out of a solid wood block and has a rubber wrap around bumper to prevent marking the surface.
Available in four textures:
Stiff - White polypropylene bristles for teak, below the water line and other tough surfaces.
Medium - Yellow polystyrene bristles for textured and non-skid surfaces.
Soft - Yellow polystyrene bristles with split end fibers, safe on gelcoat, clear coat, fiberglass and paint.
Extra Soft - Blue nylon bristles ideal for delicate surfaces like isinglass and Plexiglas.
Combo - Red polystyrene bristles with split end fibers, safe on gelcoat, clear coat, fiberglass and paint with shorter medium stiff yellow polystyrene bristles for textured and non-skid surfaces in the center. The harder you push the harder it works.

This brush is great for it's intended purpose which is scrubbing growth off bottom paint. It's REALLY stiff, and will instantly destroy any smooth gelcoat that it encounters. I wouldn't even use it on nonskid. It will leave scratches that will make the nonskid more difficult to clean each time you use it. Stick to the stiff yellow for nonskid, and the tufted yellow for smooth gelcoat. You have been warned.

This is a great brush. Had one like it for years but dropped it overboard. Was such a great product I purchased the identical one again. It is nice and soft. Great for smooth surfaces that you don't want to risk scratching.

This is the best my teak has looked since new. I used the white stiff version of this brush, which made a big difference in how it cleaned the teak. I also used about a cup of the dry granular Oxi Clean diluted in about 1/2" gal of water. I spread it over the dry gray teak. I worked it in with the stiff brush and let it set for about 20 minutes, then used it again. Then, I rinsed it with a lot of water. That's it! The color looks great again. I will seal it with DITEC Trition 2.0 sealer.

We have a lot of leaves that fall in our pool, and on the coping on the side of our pool. The coping frequently gets stained with tannins, and I have looked for a long time for a fast and easy way to clean those tannins. I’ve been using a little bit of baking soda with Clorox and this brush, and the course bristles on this brush with just a little bit of water make cleaning around the pool, a breeze. I can now clean the coping around the pool in about 10 minutes, and then hose off after. The quality of these brushes is really unmatched. I like that I have all four of the brushes and a single pole. It’s fast to replace the pole and these brush heads hold up for a very long time my oldest brushhead, which is still in great condition, is about four years old. They also make a brushhead that can be used on a car that is super soft and other varying degrees of coarseness for cleaning boats without damaging them as well. This particular brush I’ve also used to scrub concrete, and where most brushes would fall apart this brush not only does the job But continues to do the job over and over again without degrading.

This was a replacement brush head for a set we've had for many years. Brush head finally wore out on old set. Great product as used below.This is great for washing your vehicle. If clean before use, very protective of paint and gel coat surfaces. The bumper on the brush head protects delicate surfaces from inadvertent hard knocks.We also used it on semigloss exterior porch floor paint, flat porch railings, and some stained outdoor wood furniture that was coated with pollen. Great results, but note these surfaces did not need hard scrubbing.Would not recommend this soft brush head be used to attempt hard scrub on outdoor decks, for instance-it is for delicate surfaces.

I own a yacht management and detailing company in Florida, Shure hold is a standard for boating . I was not very happy to receive a tiny brush compared to my other yellow ones, but I’m happy it does the job .( water line skum , for the teak wood, a larger wound be nice ) no complaints. Great fit , as expected, white rubber around so you don’t mark up the boat if your flying around scribing down teak ect . I use the yellow, blue and white brushes ( and the black likes hook to help untie the vessel is very handy also ) . And of course the shamming mop to dry! Yellow and shammy dry mop you can do it all . If your a diy person boats . This white will be my bathroom cleaner too now ! Lol small I’ll clean the shower in 1min . Hope this helps someone out there! Cheers!
