Mounts on either side of your Old Town Canoe. (Canoe must have rectangular vinyl gunwales)
Not compatible with thin metal gunwales. Gunwale must be 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 wide and 1 to 1 1/2 inches thick, with lip being toward cockpit side.
Rubber pad protects canoe side where it touches.

Tightening that knob clamps it securely. Made just for Old Town with the black plastic gunwales and other brands with same type of gunwale (rectangular gunwales of 1 1/2 to 2 1/4 inches width and thickness of the lip from an inch to 1 1/2 inches.)
