These aren't adjustable, and can only go on the open end. There didn't seem to be a way to remove the back hook from the run below without sliding it down the length, which is annoying.They didn't slip or wiggle, and the distance was always accurate, all good qualities. Just took 5 minutes of fussing to get them off after use.Only used once, then moved on to the next set.
