Good for smaller pieces, not for long ones by yourself

This is a cheaper version of the geico siding tool. I think it's around 50% cheaper than the name brand, but it does a similar job from what I've seen. I have used the geico brand previously and this one is pretty much the same I how it operates. Make sure not to swing the clamp arm all the way up as you'll end up damaging your siding. Holds well and makes the job go faster and more accurate. Measure every 2 or 3 courses just to make sure you're on target and this will be a big help

I would not even try to do my siding by myself, but with these I am able to. As you will know , sometimes it’s hard to get the help you need when you need it. This is coming in handy as I’m redoing my north face wall i’m having to do most of the work myself with very little help so I cannot give it anything but five stars. It’s not super heavy but sometimes that can be a mistake on something like this. Just becomes a positive because of how they designed them. they are plenty rigid , light, easy to move, easy to set. As you can see , I took one set of apart, so you could see the offset of the holes, so it allows you a lot smaller increments than just on The side shows you. Thus you should be able to adjust the overlap perfectly for what you need. I’m very pleased with them.

This is a great tool if you need to install lap siding. It holds the board in place so you don't have to have another person help you. It allows you to align the siding without having to constantly remeasure and mark every board by holding it in place while you are nailing it. Making installation easy. It functions well and is a great value for your money because you don't need to hire someone to help you.

Ordered this Siding Mounting Kit, Siding Installation Tools for 3/8 Inch Fiber Cement/LP Siding to actually use with another set that I had ordered on Vine. I was curious if they were the exact same item even though they were from different sellers. These are identical except for the name printed on the front. They are a aftermarket version of the Gecko and are close but the angle is a little bit off and they can pull away from the siding a little easier than the original. The price is very close to the same so it's hard to recommend these over the brand name. They don't work great on very large boards, so I ordered a second set to provide a little more stability and keep the boards from slipping down. I have yet to use this set as it is winter but I examined it, researched reviews and tested it on some siding and it feels like it holds well. Can see how there is some skill required to set the handle to the right position so that it doesn't pull away from the wall.
