I was excited to receive this order...but, only to be disappointed. The egg cartons are not only unreliable, but are extremely fragile and stuffed very tightly into the box. You will destroy several egg cartons just trying to get one out of the box. Unreliable, yes! Fragile, yet! Disappointing, yes!

I ordered 12 ct cartons of 100. Amazon box came packaged 2 stacks of 50 cartons side by side with 45 cartons stacked then 5 cartons tipped over at top of this stack. These two stacks then wrapped with small bubble wrap around ends and sides of cartons. With box heavy cartons damaged of 5 tipped over each stack so 10 then bottom cartons damaged from dropping box so another 4 damaged. Poor quality pulp, too thin so tears easily when try to pull apart! Only 2 stars cuz good price.

So far its looks like a good value. Not as durable as a grocery store carton.. but then again you should be able to reuse several times or not worry if you don't get them back form you egg customers. Price is comparable to a local farm store but these cartons have a flat surface so I can stamp my own logo on them.Only challenge is the packaging.. holy crud are they packed together! They come vacuum sealed in the stack and are a BEAR to get apart without tearing them. Be patient and take your time. I was going to give to my grand son to take apart, but I think that would end up a shredded mess!

Saw not so great reviews on the cartons but with the price being so much cheaper than anything I could find, I decided to give it a try. These cartons have worked well for our small egg business. Just difficult I’ll to separate, so you have to be slow when pulling them apart or they will tear. Once they are separated, they have held up well with several customers bringing them back for more eggs. The carton will NOT close for our xxl eggs though. We only have one hen out of 60 that seems to lay this big, so I just close the carton, it just will not close shut.

These cartons can hold my large duck eggs easily. The hinged part is a bit delicate, but if one is reasonably careful, it's not a problem.
