Work good on my 4bt build. Even works with the stock 86 k5 GM oil gauge. But so far its doing the job.

Change sensors and gauges simultaneously, makes a huge difference. Try buying from same company so you know the calibration standard is the same. Good results.

This is an odd review to write. I gave it 1 star because the one I bought from Amazon didn’t work. At all. Swapped it on to the engine, started the engine, the gauge read 0. Never moved. I had already swapped senders between two engines so I know the engine and gauge are fine. This sender was bad. I bought the exact same p/n from another source (off line) and swapped that one in. Fired up the engine and the readings look perfect. So, clearly, a bad sender. Perhaps I got a failed one that had been restocked? I don’t know. But it’s worth sharing that this may not be the place to buy this sender.

I ordered this part because one of my motors oil pressure dropped. Diagnosed the problem to the sending unit and replaced with this one and reading is now accurate with the manual pressure kit.
