this 3x12x44 Buckmaster is clear all the way thru 12. very nice scope for a 308 win. i did remove the range adjusting knob for bolt lift at 12, really don't need it anyway, scope adjusts easy enough.

Scope looks and works great easy to use and really good and clear sight honestly the only thing that upset me a tad which is kind of petty is the decal sticker that usually comes with new scopes wasn't present but other than that can't wait to go hunting with it.

I put those scope on my .308 and it holds zero perfectly. 44mm objective lense is a bonus. It gives you a really clear and wide sight picture. For 100 dollars id say this product is 100% worth your money.

I bought this scope based on the 3x12x44 magnification, BDC Reticle, and low price.Of course it IS made in China and not so much a precision nor low-light scope. It gets the job done at 100 yards on paper targets during daylight hours but unless you have a lot of rifle ammo to waste I wouldn't try to reliably hit anything over 200-250 yards. You probably can do just as well using your rifle's iron sights. The 3x12 adjustment is pretty stiff thus the need for the 'stem' attached to the scope. While the flip-up covers are handy I suggest you pony up a few more bucks and purchase the Sig 'Whiskey' line of scopes as they are made in the Phillipines by ScoPro the same factory that produces quality Burris, Leupold, Vortex, and previously Nikon scopes. You'll probably get better optics, precision, and bang for your buck than the cheapo Chinese version for not much more money. The Sig Sauer Buckmasters scopes are really no better than the current line of Tasco, CV Life, or Bushnell entry-level scopes which are also made in China - probably all at the same factory and you can buy them for less. A fancy box does not make this scope any better than one that comes in a Clamshell. If you simply plan to target practice or deer hunt during bright daylight hours the Sig Buckmasters will probably suffice. It's a good scope for a 30-30 @ 100-125 yards. If you want more you'll probably have to pay more.
