I really liked the appearance of this acrylic book stand, it added a nice touch to my space. It's strong and easy to put together. The material is thick and it had no problem holding my heavy Tom Ford book. The acrylic had a thin layer that I could peel off, revealing its beautiful clear surface. Personally, I thought it worked well. The only thing to watch out for is the sharp edges. When I moved it to adjust, it accidentally scratched my table. I suggest lifting it instead of sliding it on a wooden surface to avoid scratching the wood.

It’s very sturdy but I had a time figuring out how to assemble but I surprised myself and it was done. I love it.

This is definitely a product I got on a flyer. I didn't think I needed it but for some reason, I got it and wow, I'm so very glad that I did! It is stunningly beautiful! It's simply, minimalistic and it just stands out as unusual drawing one's attention in a good way.My daughter has a huge 300-page heavy book of birds with a part of the book that calls out the bird's voice. This acrylic book stand makes that book look magnificent instead of stuffing it on a bookshelf.For sure, when she outgrows this bird book this lovely stand can be used elsewhere. But I suspect that it is served best as the stand for that "one" special book.I was shocked too that the angle of the stand allows for the book to remain open to whatever page you turn to whether at the beginning, middle or end. Can't explain how that is because if I opened a book on a counter, it doesn't stay open. So, there's that magic to look forward to!Lovely product!

This holder is super cool. I'm using it for a performance and its great, It comes apart easily. It fits together just by sliding the two pieces by the slit in the middle.It comes totally covered to keep the plexiglass from getting scratched. I loved that.It holds a book in a very open position, so it will not flop closed or accidentally flip back or ahead. The pieces fit lower to maximize the book opening position. Therefore, the X shape isn't high up.The only thing I don't like is the weight. It is fine if you're leaving it in one place. the weight probably helps the book to rest open, I'm guessing. But I'm traveling with it. Although it comes apart and is portable, the weight is significantly heavier than I expected.

I ordered another one of these acrylic bookstands. Its sturdiness comes from the thickness of the acrylic, which I particularly appreciate.
