A Very Nice Lens! I haven't used it much (yet) & It is very Heavy. (I just ordered a stronger Tripod). But, I'm very Happy with the quality I'm getting! See my 4 photos. The 1st 3 were hand-held right out of the box on Auto mode. The windmill was moving & I have a 35 mm ref. next to the 500mm Shot. The bird pics were at 550mm. The Bright Moon was on a tripod & 600mm, A priority ISO 100. The other moon pic is with a nikon 300mm lens & different day. I use Corel Paintshop Pro & "Smart Photo Fix" mode for post processing. The 1st 3 weren't changed much. The Moon pic was helped with the shadow areas. (On a Nikon D3300 & I haven't used the docking station yet).

I bought this lens for an upcoming trip. So far I am happy with the lens itself, HOWEVER it didn’t come with any of the bundled items that it’s supposed to. All I received was the lens, and Amazon only offered a “full refund upon return of the item” which wasn’t acceptable for me due to my trip. I’d rather just receive all the items i paid for. Buy the lens for sure, but consider purchasing it from B & H Photo Video or a similar reputable photography website. Neither Amazon nor Focus Camera will take responsibility for messing this order up, so buyer beware.

Great lens. Very good quality materials. The kid stuff it came with, the backpack and mono pod are a bit cheap, but wasn’t expecting much.I haven’t been able to use a lens much yet because of the cold weather but so far so good. Definitely much heavier than anything I’ve ever used. So far I have no complaints.

I had problems with another order from this seller.. A vertical grip that was basically trash. it works fine for holding an extra batterie but the shutter button and remote were a joke.. This lens and the kit that goes with it? oh hell ya.. the lens is going for just under what others are asking for it and the accessories are cool... all are OK quality and a nice addition.. two memory cards to boot and a camera case as well as a monopod (really light weight).. BUT what I was impressed the most buy was, it arrived BEFORE the estimated date and was securely and was priced lower and came with stuff... I am pleased with this seller after this purchase and BRAND NEW in the OG box. worth while purchase for a great lens (dont waste your time on a 2X convertor though, it wont be able to find focus and your images will suck)

I bought this lens in order to improve the clarity of my photos. Even at a distance when cropped the photos are still sharp. My blue jay photo may be a little off but that was my focusing. I mainly photograph wildlife so the zoom Is perfect. For the price range I am extremely happy. Yes it is a little heavy so I primarily use a tripod. I was surprised to find how much I like the bag that came with it. I can put my lens, camera and two smaller lenses in the bag. I have not tried the polarizing filter yet but I did not care for the skylight filter. It seemed to decrease the quality of photos. As of yet I have not used the dock.I am using on a Nikon D5500 camera. Great lens for the price.

This lens is solid, works well, whether or not it is completely weather proof like the "sport" model isn't too much of a concern to me, especially considering the price difference. I ordered from this company rather than the others because I thought the small pack included could be useful. It's a little flimsy but if JUST taking one camera and this lens on a hike somewhere it works to make it a little less obtrusive looking. The rest of the stuff included really isn't useable except for the memory cards. I received two 95mm CPL filters, exactly the same for some reason. (?) Pretty poor quality and I won't be using one anyway. Rest of the stuff is fairly useless. If you're a photographer you already have a monopod/tripod/cleaning supplies etc. (Oh, and the "tripod" is TINY.)

This package is actually an amazing value. Filters alone probably cover the difference. Sigma dock inclusion is an awesome bonus. The lens is heavy, and requires using at least a monopod. Focusing is silent and fast.Lens had some grey particles on the body, and the lens box had some scuffs. Not sure if it came that way from the factory, or is actually used/return. No defects on the glass itself, so we'll see how it performs over time.Photo below was taken hand-held. Lens autofocused on the moon instantly.
