These worked great on my boat restoration job. These removed the glue without digging to much into the aluminum decks and lids. Super product at a great price!!!!

I'm removing 70-year-old paint down to bare metal on steel trellis support. I've used sand disks, wire wheels and these black stripper disks on the project. I'm using a 4-1/2 inch 13 amp DeWalt angle grinder. Wire wheels are the fastest, but they leave marks and don't take off the black base oxidation. Sand disks work, but are slow. These work like a charm and leave a shiny bare metal surface. They do wear, but hold up a better than sanding disks. I am using light to moderate pressure; I think they would probably wear quickly if you put too much pressure on them

I will be ordering more. These really stripped the paint fast. Watch out for edges. They catch and chunks will fly. I have used these kind of strippers for my drill. But my drill turns much slower than my 41/2” grinder.

I've been using 80 grit in an orbital sander to remove loose paint on a wood deck for repanting. These are faster, and if you are careful, these remove more paint and gouge less.

These stripper pads do a great job of removing paint & rust w/o being too aggressive. The surface underneath is nicely polished and ready for what ever the next step is.
