Received Jan 19, 2023, expires Jan 27, 2023. Manuf. shelf life is 1 year, so guessing this is about 1 year old. Not cool!

I got this Sikaflex 1A Elastomeric Sealant to use to seal & close some small gaps in a natural stone retaining wall in my yard/garden. I have experience using other Sika products and always experienced good results. The sealant has a high degree of adhesion to the stones in my wall. It's highly elastic and cures to a durable, flexible consistency with good cut and tear-resistance.Sometimes it's tough to find a good color match, especially with stone material. The 'Capital Tan' is fairly close to most of the wall, but it's still somewhat noticeable. A color chip from the manufacturer is attached. Remember, your monitor's color may or may not give an accurate rendition of this color.

A month after I received this product I went to use it after being stored in my heated garage and it was hard as a rock and unusable. It was likely shipped to me in this condition because it was only then that I checked the code date of Sept 24, 2022 on the tube inset ....I had barely 6 weeks to use it. Not only did I miss my 30 day window to return but I also wasted valuable job site time running to find a local replacement to finish the project. Would have been off setting the purchase price on fire rather than order from this supplier.

sealant-adhesive was old and rock hard, could not use. had to purchase in retail storedo not buy is on line
