The material appears to be straight forward thin leather. No metallic grid for a faraday pattern no metallized material. Nothing of sufficient material or ability to block it.

I bought one of these before (right). I decided to get another one so I hit buy again. The quality of the second one (left) I just received is nothing like the first. I'm very disappointed. It seems cheap n cheesy compared to the first one I ordered.

The fit is on the snug side, to the point of making the holder inconvenient. The finish quality is lower than I expected: the holder makes loud noises on every move, resulting in a cheap feel.

I got the dual passport version. While the fit is snug (bindings on the passports need to face out, not toward the center, so that it will close), I think it will work out well. The leather is softer than I expected, but that's fine. It adds more bulk than I was hoping for, but again, it's fine. Better than keeping them loose.It's also worth noting that it crinkles when you open it. I suppose I should have expected that, but didn't.I haven't tested the RFID blocking yet, but I was really more interested in the organizational than the security aspects of it.
