The cameo cutting mats work well and are as described. Whenever I begin with a new mat (and am using thinner paper), I usually find it helpful to stick the mat to clean carpet/fabric a couple of times to prevent it from being too sticky and causing the paper to tear when the cutouts are removed.

I am so happy I went back to Silhouette branded cutting mats. I tried out some cheap mats that worked okay but they always left sticky residue on the back of my vinyl. Having to clean up the back of my vinyl took up too much time. If you are trying to decide between the cheap cutting mats vs the Silhouette brand, I would HIGHLY SUGGEST sticking with the Silhouette brand.

I only use Silhouette Mats on my Cameo 4 as recommended. Received quickly and saved approximately $8 dollars ordering a 3 pack of mats. Well worth it.

Really worth it! Not sure if this is authentic but it works just like my original cameo mat! Would definitely purchase again! Hopefully the sellers would have the pro mats too!

I love the silhouette mats more than the cricut. I like that it’s see thru and you can see the squares to know how large or small your design will be.My only complaint is not with the mat itself, but with how I received the product. The outside of the mat is a plastic film. All seemed fine and in tact. When I opened the plastic and pulled out my mats. They were wet! So the paper was sticking to the mats. Not quite sure how the mat got wet because the plastic is sealed. Which leads me to the thought that they got wet and put in the plastic at the factory. Not sure if I can save the 2 outside mats or not. I am trying to peel the paper off the mats now.So, I love the mats!!! Just not the receiving of these!😀

Just what I needed and the price was just right. These mats hold well, and even after the sticky coating is gone I extend their life by using a quick spray of removable adhesive on the back of my paper. It doesn't have to last long, just until the cutting job is done. I've never had a problem with this trick gumming up the blade, and I've done it for years. These three mats are replacing some 5-year-old ones so I'm hoping these three will last me a good long time yet!
