You do need a small amount of fat/oil but they would just as intended. Easy clean up as well.

These are great! I did forget to put the lid on before moving the first batch to the instant pot, and I spilled egg mixture everywhere. The lid really helps with not spilling while transporting before they are cooked. I wish there was a way to stack both and use the sous vide in the instant pot, but I'm sure water would get into the bottom row, so I did my egg bites in 2 batches. I tried one with sous vide in my instant pot, and the other I did in a pan of water in the over. They both came out amazing, and the silicone molds make it so easy to pop them out when they are done. I also love the lifting rack.

I purchased these previously for myself and love them so much that I have purchased for my daughter and my nieces. They work wonderful to make egg bites. I make a bunch and then put them in a freezer bag in my freezer to heat up for a quick breakfast on busy mornings. I want to try them for mini cheesecakes too. I have been looking up online and will also try some chicken w/stuffing cups as well as other recipe ideas. These are great!!

As part of my new low carb diet, I wanted to start making egg bites to warm up again later. These do a perfect job of making them in my instant pot! For both molds (14 total egg bites), I use 8 eggs, a little bit of milk, salt & pepper... whisk them together. In the cups I add sausage, ham chunks, cheese, bacon.. and fill the cup about 34 of the way. Add a cup and a half of water into the pot and set it for 10 minutes on high. I let it slow release for another 10 minutes. The eggs fall right out of the mold... no non-stick spray required! I like to cut them up with a little salsa and bingo! Low Carb snack done quick and easy. I made a few batches back to back and then put the eggs in the fridge to eat for the rest of the week. I highly recommend these!

Love these, especially having lids! They were sturdy enough to pick up without dumping raw egg out. They worked perfectly in my instant pot. I make two full pans full of egg bites, cool them then store in the refrigerator with the lids snapped tight. Yes - the lids snap on. I use a small spoon to pop the cooked product out. Clean up is quick and easy. The rack works well and I use it in place of my other rack because it has handles. I haven't unwrapped the spoons because I already have three sets!

I love this products. I meal prep and heard about Sous Vide egg bites which I have not ever had but wanted to try. I followed the recipe in the book for the eggs and added bacon, pepper and onion so delish! Very easy and almost no cleanup.

I love my instant pot. I am always buying accessories for it! I was intrigued by this set because I really like making eggs in my instant pot.PROS:- The wire rack is perfect for making perfect hard-boiled eggs. I like to follow the guidelines posted on pressurecookrecipes.com.- The silicone mold is useful not only for making single servings of various dishes like egg bites.- The silicone mold also two-times as a nice ice cube tray for my soup stocks. It has a lid for the freezer.CONS:- Silicone tends to pick up smells, as we all know from the sealing rings!- Sometimes I feel like it's hard to clean oily residue off the silicone.Overall, I would still highly recommend this useful accessory and it is fun to make egg bites!
